Ricky Hatton hit out at the scoring that saw his fighter Kiryl Relikh lose a wide points decision to Ricky Burns.
'The Hitman' was in the corner as his man appeared to push the WBA super-lightweight champion all the way in a grueling and hard fight at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.
The trainer had no problem with the unanimous decision that saw Burns make a successful first defence but was far from happy when the scorecards were read out.
Raul Caiz Sr gave it 118-110 to Burns and although Jesus Cova and Terry O'Connor made it a little closer with both scoring it 116-112, Hatton was far from impressed with the way the saw the fight.
"I thought we might have done enough to pinch it," he told Sky Sports' Andy Scott.
"I looked down at my pals, Johnny Nelson and Paul Smith (ringside for Sky Sports) and they both said they had it level and that was maybe about right.
"The 118-110 and even the 116-112 I couldn't get my head round at all.
"The last round could've gone either way, the first four were no question [in Relikh's favour] and 10 and 11 were no question either and that's a draw.
"You can see how disappointed I am. I can't say it was a bad result but the scoring was shocking."
Relikh (21-1-KO19) hadn't boxed beyond eight rounds until Friday night while three-weight world champion Burns (41-5-1-KO14) has now gone the full 12 championship rounds on 13 occasions.
The Belarusian looked like he might have even had put the champion down in the 12th round but with referee Howard Foster ruling it a slip, he went on to suffer his first defeat as a professional.
"I haven't shown what I'm capable of," he told Sky Sports.
"I'm used to fighting, not playing hide and seek. I tried to get through but he was running away and that was the problem."
