Gennady Golovkin claims his team have reached an agreement to fight Chris Eubank Jr and is awaiting the Englishman's signature.
WBA Super, WBC and IBF world middleweight champion Golovkin (35-0-KO32) is set to travel to the UK to face Eubank Jr in September but has claimed the British champion is yet to put pen to paper on the deal.
Golovkin said via his social media page: "Everything is agreed from our side. Now waiting for @ChrisEubankJr, who all of a sudden has lost his pen..."
In an interview reported on boxingscene.com, Golovkin's manager added: "We have a very interesting situation with Eubank Jr.
"We've negotiated with Eddie Hearn for several weeks and we agreed on all of the terms. As the negotiations were ongoing, Eubank Jr spoke to the media and demanded that a contract be signed.
"It's time to find out whether Eubank Jr and Eubank Sr are only able to talk or if they're able to back up their words by signing the contract.
"If we don't get a contract from Eubank Jr, we will begin to promote our own show in the United States on September 10."
Eubank Jr recently reeled off a ruthless four-round stoppage of Tom Doran while Golovkin was last in action back in April, when he took less than two rounds to demolish Dominic Wade.
