Tyson Fury has welcomed Lou DiBella's assertion that the WBA Super and WBC world heavyweight champion is 'the golden goose.'

American promoter Lou DiBella, who oversees the career of WBC champion Deontay Wilder recently told Sky Sports that the Briton was the main attraction in boxing's marquee weight class and Fury (25-0-KO18) agrees wholeheartedly.

In an interview reported on boxingscene.com, the 27-year-old said ahead of his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko: "I like being the golden goose. It's not a bad thing to be. I am the golden goose of the heavyweight division.

Deontay Wilder insisted he will show 'no mercy' if he fights Tyson Fury later

"I am the lineal heavyweight champion. They all want to be what I am, so bring them all on I say. We have just to get Wlad out of the way and then it will be a unification. I'm up for that. I'm down."

After dethroning Klitschko (64-4-KO53) in Dusseldorf in November, Fury attended Wilder's third title defence and leapt into the ring to confront the American following a knockout of Polish challenger Artur Szpilka.

Fury said of the possibility of taking on the 'Bronze Bomber' next: "Deontay Wilder, if you're out there, bring it on chump.
