Callum Smith wants to become a world champion by beating James DeGale or Badou Jack - and then defend his title at Anfield.
The 26-year-old Liverpudlian (20-0-KO15) stopped Cesar Hernan Reynoso on the undercard of Tony Bellew's world title triumph at Goodison Park and remains mandatory challenger to Jack's WBC super-middleweight title.
Smith is awaiting news of a possible unification clash between Jack and IBF champion DeGale but if and when he gets his hands on one or both of those belts, is enthusiastic over the idea of fighting across Stanley Park at his beloved Liverpool FC.
Smith told Sky Sports News HQ: "If they fight then I'll fight the winner and I'd go into the fight confident of becoming a world champion. Hopefully I can win a world title and then I'd love to defend it at Anfield.
"I've got to sit and wait. I'm going to have a little holiday. It all depends on James DeGale and Badou Jack and whether they come to an agreement on a unification fight.
"If they do, I have to wait a bit longer to get my shot but I'll keep doing what I'm doing, improving in the gym and make sure that when my shot does come, I'm ready to take it.
"They're both very good fighters and would be a tough night, which you'd expect. I watched them both in their last fights up close and I came away with the same opinion - they're both good fighters but they're both beatable and I believe I've got the tools to beat the two of them."
Jack and DeGale were last in action on the same card in Washington, with London's 'Chunky' scoring a unanimous decision over Rogelio Medina before Jack clung on to his strap via a split draw with Lucian Bute, who has since failed a drugs test.
