Dillian Whyte has told potential British heavyweight title rival Dave Allen he's happy to box him 'in a car park' before then.

'The Bodysnatcher' Whyte (16-1-KO13) has become hot property in the division having shared a fantastic clash with now-world champion Anthony Joshua back in December and signed with Matchroom.

Former world title challenger Dereck Chisora is the latest domestic heavyweight to become embroiled in verbal warfare with Whyte, who has recently undergone surgery to correct a shoulder injury and would welcome the chance to turn a Twitter spat with the unbeaten Allen (9-0-1-KO6) into an official bout, even if there is no title or purse on the line.

Whyte, who will face French heavyweight champion Cyril Leonet on his return on June 25, told Sky Sports: "I'll fight anybody. Dave Allen keeps shouting that he wants to fight me but I told him he doesn't need to scream my name.

"I'll fight him in a car park for nothing. Just man to man. Then I'll get in my car and drive off and he gets in his car and drives off. All he needs to do is speak to his people, send my people the paperwork and we'll sort it out and let's get it on.

Dereck Chisora appeared out of nowhere at Dillian Whyte's latest press conference.

"He doesn't need to keep screaming and talking rubbish. No. If he does that then when I see him, I'll end up slapping him.

"He's a nobody and he needs to get back into his box. He says he's a rhino but he doesn't have four legs, a horn and weigh over a ton. He's just some guy who sleeps in a bedsit wherever he's from. Have some respect.

"I'm just myself. I'm the kind of guy that'll tell you straight. If I don't like you, I'll tell you. If you do something wrong to me, I'll confront you.

"If you have a problem with me, we can sit down and thrash it out or escalate it. I just speak my mind. I say what I think and that's it."

Dillian Whyte has been rehearsing his battle cry

The British Boxing Board of Control had ordered Whyte to face Hughie Fury for the British title but a health issue prevented the latter from taking the bout, leaving Allen to offer to step in.

In the longer term, Whyte is keen to earn the chance to avenge his defeat to Joshua and is hopeful that his long-time rival is still in possession of the IBF world heavyweight title if and when they meet again.

Whyte added: "I'm a man of pride and great drive. If I lose to someone, I want to get it back. I don't like losing even if I'm playing a computer game against my kids and I lose. They're not allowed to go to bed until I win! I'm competitive.

"Even in training camp, when I'm with my brother everything is a competition. That's me. Rivalry and competition gives you that extra edge, desire to run the extra mile and do the extra push-up. I want the rematch with Joshua and I want the world title. He wants the rematch too."

Whyte returns to action against French heavyweight champion Cyril Leonet (10-8-2-KO3) on the undercard of Anthony Joshua v Dominic Breazeale on June 25 - live on Sky Sports Box Office.
