Andy Ruiz continued his rise up the heavyweight rankings with a fourth round stoppage win over former world title challenger Ray Austin.
The unbeaten 26-year-old, who is listed in the IBF's top 10, extended his record to 27 wins after Austin failed to come out for the fifth round.
Ruiz's high ranking put him in contention as a potential foe for title holder Anthony Joshua before Dominic Breazeale was confirmed as the voluntary opponent on June 25, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Austin had suffered a second round defeat to Wladimir Klitschko in a failed shot at the IBF belt in 2007 and the 'Rainman' looked in danger of another swift loss when he was dropped by a big right hand from Ruiz in the first round.
Ruiz continued to punish the faded 45-year-old with fierce combinations and Austin wisely decided not to resume the one-sided fight after the fourth.
The Mexican-born fighter stayed on course for a future IBF eliminator after adding Austin to his list of wins, including former WBO champion Siarhei Liakhovich and ex-Prizefighter champion Tor Hamer.
