Floyd Mayweather is excited by the prospect of his fighter Badou Jack meeting James DeGale in a world title unification bout.
Jack retained his WBC super-middleweight crown via majority draw against Luciane Bute in Washington at the weekend while IBF champion DeGale edged out Rogelio Medina with a unanimous decision on the same bill.
That left the prospect of a high-profile clash between the pair a step closer and Jack's promoter, boxing legend 'Money' Mayweather, was enthusiastic over the idea of a September clash.
Mayweather told Sky Sports: "Badou is a gentleman. He's very respectful as an individual. I'm proud of him and I stand behind him. James DeGale is a very exciting fighter and also very explosive.
We look forward to coming over there and having a great relationship with everyone over in the UK and bringing championship boxing to the highest heights.
