Four-weight world champion Adrien Broner is serving a 10-day jail sentence for a probation violation.

Broner is listed among the inmates at Cincinnati's Hamilton County Justice Center, whose website says he was admitted on Tuesday morning and will be released on April 22.

The violation relates to a previous driving conviction and is not connected to separate charges of assault and robbery, which Broner denied in court earlier this month before he was released on bond.

The American was stripped of his WBA world super-lightweight title last month after failing to make the weight for a defence against Ashley Theophane.

He went on to knock out Theophane and was this weekend mentioned by Eddie Hearn as a potential future opponent for Britain's IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook.
