Tyson Fury will defend his WBA Super and WBO world heavyweight titles in a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko in Manchester on July 9.
The 27-year-old Fury (25-0-KO18) left the boxing world stunned in November when he deposed Klitschko (64-4-KO53) in Dusseldorf via unanimous decision and has booked the return clash after lengthy negotiations.
Having discussed the possibility of staging the second bout in Dubai and dismissed a bizarre offer to fight on an exclusive yacht, Manchester has been finalised as the venue.
Fury's trainer Peter Fury said via social media: "9th July @Tyson_Fury vs Klitschko is coming to Manchester uk. Official announcement coming 12 noon."
The news comes just a day before Fury's domestic rival Anthony Joshua makes his maiden world title challenge against Charles Martin - live on Sky Sports Box Office. Joshua and Fury have traded insults on social media outlets throughout fight week.
Klitschko held the WBA Super, WBO and IBF titles and prior to losing to Fury had not been beaten in over 11 years.
Charles Martin vs Anthony Joshua is live on Sky Sports Box Office on April 9. Order the event online now.
