Tom Doran made it two wins from two against Luke Keeler with a spectacular and sensational knockout in the second round.
Both fighers were put down in an explosive first round only for Welshman Doran to produce an even better follow-up, finishing Keeler off little more than a minute into the second.
Doran won their Prizefighter battle last February but this was never going to go to three rounds after such a stunning start.
With a little more than a minute gone 'Dazzlin' was the first to be felled as Keeler charged in and landed a huge right that left Doran down and almost out. He made the count but was kept up by the ropes as Keeler went at him again, yet somehow he survived and completely flipped the script with a sharp and precise knockdown of his own.
His rights landed flush but it was it was two clinical lefts that returned the compliment and had Keeler down. Somehow he made it to the end of the first but the minute's rest had little affect on either of them and as soon as the second started, Doran was back in business.
A sharp right started it off and as soon as Keeler came firing back, Doran was set up for another vicious left hook that had his opponent down again.
Keeler tried his hardest to get back up but before the count hit 10 trainer Pascal Collins threw in the towel and referee Ian John-Lewis stepped in to end a blistering four minutes of ferocity.
It means Doran not only moved his record to 17-0-KO7 but also picked up the vacant WBC International middleweight strap and blasted his way into the all-important world rankings.
"I wanted this belt round my waist," Doran told Sky Sports.
"It's my first title and means a hell of a lot. The fans deserve to see great fights and if I can get up, I'm getting up.
"It was a cracking round. What can I say? Sometimes I can be susceptible to trading when I shouldn't but it makes for exciting fights. If I get caught then I can turn it on when I have to."
Before the live Sky Sports action there were plenty of short and almost as sweet performances, with Scott Fitzgerald making it two wins from two in his professional career. The super-welterweight saw off Robert Studzinski - also in the second round - with a cracking left hook.
Marcus Morrison went one better, stopping Janos Varga in the first to move to 10-0-KO7, while Reece Bellotti was taken six rounds before Julio Buitrago's corner called the fight off.
Local welterweight Tom Farrell went to 8-0-KO2 with a points win over a dogged Mark McKray while fellow Liverpudlian Ryan Mulcahy edged James Gorman on points and Gerard Carroll opened his professional account by out-pointing Youssef Al Hamidi over four.
