WBA heavyweight champion Lucas Browne is to fight to clear his name

Lucas Browne is adamant he is no drugs cheat despite recording a positive test after becoming WBA world heavyweight champion.

The 36-year-old (24-0-KO21) became Australia's first ever world heavyweight champion in Russia on March 5 when he stopped Ruslan Chagaev in the 10th round.

A statement from the doping authorities subsequently confirmed Browne had tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol.
