Chris Eubank Jr's debut on Sky Sports comes against Tony Jeter - but who is he?
The American will provide the opposition for Eubank Jr so we have had a dig around to find out everything you need to know ahead of Saturday's Sheffield showdown...
Where does he come from?
Tony 'Mo Better' Jeter hails from the east coast of the United States. He was born and still lives in Columbia, Maryland, which is frequently ranked as one of the best places to live in the USA and back in 2013 was listed as the second richest county in the country.
So it's not the Colombia in South America then?
Er, no. It's on the east coast near a small place you've probably heard of called Washington DC which is less than an hour's drive from Jeter's hometown.
Ah, Washington... Have any other fighters come from there?
Yes actually, plenty. Super-lightweight star Lamont Peterson was born in Washington and was back in action at the weekend, beating Felix Diaz on a majority points decision, while DeMarcus Corley, Sharmba Mitchell and Tony Thompson are all from the capital.
The Tiger, of course, has had two wins over David Price over here while Mitchell came over to Manchester to beat Patrick Stewart on Ricky Hatton's undercard way back in 2004. And to balance out the Washington-England results, 'Chop-Chop' Corley lost to Junior Witter over here and to Ashley Theophane in America, but did beat Paul McCloskey in Belfast.
OK, if we can stop the history lesson. Has Eubank Jr ever fought anyone from Maryland?
No, but his dad has. Back when Eubank Senior was an unbeaten prospect, he took on a fellow unbeaten fighter named James Canty who was from Maryland.
What was the outcome on that occasion?
'English' Eubank, as he now wishes to be known, won via unanimous decision. Canty never fought again - it was only his fourth fight!
Has Jeter fought in England before, then?
He hasn't. In his 27 professional bouts, the veteran has only fought outside of the United States once, which was in Denmark. He didn't travel well, and lost. In fact he was sparked in the second round by Patrick Nielsen.
How good is his record? Can he actually cause Eubank Jr any problems?
Jeter does have the ability to cause problems for Eubank. The American has knocked out 14 of his 20 victims, which shows he does have punching power. He also hasn't lost a fight since 2011, and that was to a highly ranked Nielsen (27-1-0). Eubank will have to be focused to avoid any potential upset, with a December showdown against Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan awaiting him.
So he's decent then. Will the fight go the distance?
Probably not. Though Jeter hasn't lost for so long, his most recent defeat to Nielsen ended in a second round knockout. He has also been knocked out on two other occasions, which suggests he isn't the best defensively. A fighter of Eubank's calibre should be looking to win this bout inside the distance. There is also the small chance of an upset - a knockout for Jeter!
How are the bookies seeing this one?
Not too closely. If you fancy Eubank to win, you can back him at odds of 1/100 with Sky Bet. £10 would earn you a whole 10p profit if the Englishman won! It would be a major surprise if this fight went the distance, and if you fancy the unlikely event of a draw, Sky Bet are offering it as far out as 33/1. Jeter has a puncher's chance though, and you can back him to overcome Eubank Jr at 18/1.
Not to be confused with…
Derek Jeter. The famous baseball star from the Yankees.
