Shane Mosley has revealed that he is holding talks with Amir Khan about a possible fight in Dubai on December 13..
The British fighter endured bitter disappointment in his long-term pursuit of Floyd Mayweather, who instead opted to face Andre Berto this Saturday, and Mosley claims that Khan has lined him up as a potential opponent.
A former world champion, Mosley holds a points win over Oscar De La Hoya and has shared the ring with other elite fighters such as Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto.
At 44 years old, the American's best years are behind him and his most recent win came against faded fellow veteran Ricardo Mayorga last month.
But Mosley believes he is close to a fight against Khan and suggested that Dubai is being considered as a location.
He told Behind The Gloves: "The fight that has been offered to me is Amir Khan.
"Amir Khan said he might do a fight with me in Dubai, so we are checking on that, December 13, and that should be interesting.
"We've been talking about it, me and Amir, doing something out there in Dubai, and hopefully it works out. I can't wait."
