Tyson Fury claims his aggressive antics have left Wladmir Klitschko "rattled" a month out from their world title fight.
The unbeaten challenger was in show-stopping form even by his own standards when the heavyweight rivals faced the media in London to publicise their October 24 meeting.
After a comedy routine involving donning a Batman costume and dealing with 'The Joker', Fury launched repeated verbal attacks on the triple world champion and at one point removed his jacket in apparent readiness for a fight.
Fury also questioned Klitschko's choice of gloves, drawing an admission from the Ukrainian that he is "afraid to damage" opponents by choosing smaller handwear.
A more measured Fury later spoke to Sky Sports News HQ and said: "I wanted him to know what time it is. I ain't here to play games.
"He said he doesn't want to hurt people, this is the hurt game so he's in the wrong sport. I hope I sent a good enough message out to him, and I think I made it clear I've got good intentions and I ain't going there to play around.
"I do think I've rattled him - properly. If anything's going to rattle him that would be it, because that was a hell of a show, I tell you."
Klitschko vowed to let his "fists talk louder than any words" come fight night in Dusseldorf, but that warning met with a dismissive response.
Fury said: "He can try and do what he wants, but he is what he is - a boring man. I listened to his speech there for 10 minutes and it was boring.
"I just want to beat the man who's 'The Man' at the moment. Wladimir is 'The Man' and I'm glad I've got my chance. My chance is here now and I'm not going to let it slip - it's my time to shine.
"It will mean a lot when I'm standing with my hand in the air - there's no ifs, it will happen. I'll be the heavyweight champion of the world - what more can i do? Apart from defend it a load of times."
