Khan odds-on to win potential grudge match

Online bookmakers Sky Bet make Amir Khan favourite to beat Kell Brook should the pair touch gloves in this calendar year.
Despite holding the IBF welterweight title, undefeated Brook is only rated 7/4 to beat Khan, who is 4/9 to pinch the title.
A draw is on offer at 25/1, but the punting public suggest the bookmakers have priced the fight all wrong amid a surge of interest in Brook.
To date, precisely 90 per cent of bets placed have gone on the ‘Special One’, with 10 per cent riding on Khan. A draw is yet to attract a single bet.
Brook’s promoter Eddie Hearn has questioned Khan’s desire to fight his charge, but maintains a Wembley date for June 13 remains on the table.
Sky Bet’s Dale Tempest said: “The public really want this fight and the debating is well under way, so we’re giving punters the opportunity to put their money where their mouth is.
“We’ve been a little taken aback by the early support for Brook, but Khan has operated at a higher level for so long now that we’re sticking to our guns.
“He is our favourite, but there’s no shortage of support for Brook. Let’s just hope the fighters get it on sooner rather than later.”
