Fourth-seed Angelique Kerber eased into the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a straight-sets win over Misaki Doi on Monday.
The French Open champion, who is yet to drop a set this year at Wimbledon, needed just over an hour to beat Doi 6-3 6-1.
Kerber reached the semi-finals at the All England Club in 2012 and also made the quarter-finals in 2014.
She will face Simona Halep in the last eight after the fifth seed fought back to win 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-3 against Madison Keys.
Former finalist Agnieszka Radwanska was beaten by Dominika Cibulkova, losing a thrilling three-hour contest 6-3 5-7 9-7.
The third seed saved two match points in an absorbing match but Cibulkova eventually came out on top and will next face Elena Vesnina after she won 5-7 6-1 9-7 against Ekaterina Makarova.
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova beat Coco Vandeweghe 6-3 6-3 to reach her first Wimbledon quarter-final, where she will play Serena Williams after her win over Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Pavlyuchenkova, who celebrated her 25th birthday on Sunday, last made the quarter-finals of a major in 2011.
Yaroslava Shvedova reached her first Wimbledon quarter-final with a 6-2 6-4 win over 28th seed Lucie Safarova.
