Defending champion Simona Halep eased past Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 6-2 6-1 to book her place in the fourth round of the French Open in just 55 minutes on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
Halep, whose only Grand Slam title came at Roland Garros last year, is bidding to become the first woman to defend a major since Serena Williams at Wimbledon in 2016.
Halep dropped sets in both her first two matches and revealed after her second-round win over Magda Linette that she was struggling with sickness.
But Tsurenko offered little resistance, failing to hold her serve at all during the quick contest, which Halep won with ease.
Tsurenko did not look physically fresh from the start and took a medical time-out during the second set for what appeared a left hip problem.
Halep's next opponent will be either Olympic champion Monica Puig or Iga Swiatek.
