Andy Murray says he will take his time before deciding whether to compete at Wimbledon after almost a year out with a hip injury.
Murray defeated Stan Wawrinka at the Nature Valley International at Eastbourne on Monday, after losing to Nick Kyrgios at Queen's Club last week.
The Scotsman is still not sure he will be fit enough for the rigours of the All England Championships, however, and insisted he will not do anything to threaten his long-term health.
"I'll decide when I'm ready, I'm not putting any pressure on myself to make that decision after one or two matches because I don't need to," he said after the win over Wawrinka. "I can decide when I want and I'm going to do that.
"I'm coming back from a very serious injury, which is not easy. My health and my body are number one priority right now and I will make that decision when I am ready.
"If I feel like I'm in good enough shape I will do it and if I don't, then obviously I won't play. Obviously, the last two matches I have played have been positive in many respects."
Despite returning to winning ways on the south coast, Murray admitted he did not get as much enjoyment out of the victory as he thought he would.
"I expected to be happier but it's good to get the win against someone as good as Stan," he added.
"That's the problem with being a professional athlete and having competed at the top of your game, your expectations [of what you can achieve].
"I always thought that when I came back I would be more pumped for every single win but the reality was it is the first round of an event.
"It was obviously great to get through it but I want to do more than that."
