Stefanos Tsitsipas' shoe comes off during Barcelona Open semi-final victory

Stefanos Tsitsipas lost his shoe midway through a rally during his semi-final match with Pablo Carreno Busta

Stefanos Tsitsipas may have stormed into the Barcelona Open final on Saturday but he needs to "tie his shoelaces", says Peter Fleming.

Tsitsipas upset Spain's world No 11 Pablo Carreno Busta 7-5 6-3 to reach his first ATP showpiece.

But his win almost came at a cost after losing one of his shoes during a rally in the first set which prompted commentator Peter Fleming to say: "Maybe he's not good at tying bows or something."

The 19-year-old became the first Greek player to reach an ATP final since 1973 when Nicholas Kalogeropoulos made the final of the now defunct Des Moines Open.
