Andy Murray is stepping up his recovery from injury and will play on the grass courts of Rosmalen in the Netherlands in June.

The former world No 1 has not played competitively since losing in the Wimbledon quarter-finals last July.

Murray has never played at the ATP 250 tournament in Rosmalen but is targeting the beginning of the grass-court season for his comeback.

He said: "I am looking forward to getting back on the grass and to play in Rosmalen for the first time.

"I've heard lots of good things about the tournament and the courts are meant to be very good. It's the perfect way for me to prepare for Wimbledon."
