It is a long-awaited return for Hayter, who has been out since July with an ACL injury while Burgess missed the last two tournaments with injury and Dan Norton took time out to be with his newborn son.

"Everyone was very proud of the effort the guys put in for the last two tournaments," said head coach Simon Amor told EnglandRugby.com

"Unfortunately in the process we lost key players including Dan Bibby, who was on red hot form in Wellington, and then Alex Davis who again has been outstanding in both attack and defence.

"They will be out for a few tournaments now but it is great to be able to bring back Phil, Dan and Charlie and to start building their game time again.
