Warren Gatland has confirmed Robbie Henshaw is likely to miss the rest of the British and Lions tour after injuring his shoulder against the Hurricanes.
Henshaw was taken off in the 19th minute of the 31-31 draw after injuring his right shoulder.
Leigh Halfpenny came on to replace him, with George North shifting to inside centre and Jack Nowell moving from full-back onto the right wing.
Given the impressive form of Ben Te'o and Jonathan Davies, Henshaw faced an uphill battle to force his way into contention for either the final two Tests against the All Blacks, on July 1 and July 8.
His injury setback robbed him of an opportunity to further his claims to feature in the Test 23 and Gatland admits the Ireland centre is unlikely to play again on the tour.
Gatland confirmed: "Henshaw is in a sling. He doesn't look good. There is a good chance his tour could be over."
