Leinster prop Cian Healy has been suspended for two weeks following a disciplinary hearing in Paris.
Healy had been cited for allegedly striking a Toulon player with his knee during Sunday's 24-9 defeat in the European Champions Cup.
The Ireland international was sin-binned in the 26th minute of the loss to the reigning three-time European champions after the incident involving Toulon hooker Guilhem Guirado.
The independent judicial officer, Roger Morris of Wales, heard submissions and evidence from Healy, who pleaded not guilty to an offence of striking, at the hearing.
Leinster's head of rugby operations Guy Easterby, the club's legal representative Donal Spring and EPCR disciplinary officer Liam McTiernan were also present.
After hearing the submissions and evidence, Morris decided that the charge of striking could not be proven.
However, he determined that Healy had committed an act of foul play and amended the charge to dangerous charging or obstructing or grabbing of an opponent without the ball, including shouldering.
Morris found that the offence was at the low end of World Rugby's sanctions and handed out a two-week ban.
Healy, who has the right of appeal, will be free to play again on December 28, but he will miss Saturday's return fixture against Toulon at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin as well as the Guinness PRO12 game away to Munster on December 27.
