Two rising stars of Irish Rugby will collide on Saturday as Leinster host Ulster at the RDS Arena, live on Sky Sports from 5.30pm...
Jacob Stockdale has enjoyed a real breakout campaign for Ulster and Ireland this season, with his combination of pace, power and aerial skills proving a potent mix.
The 21-year-old Lisburn-born back has scored four tries in as many caps for Ireland so far, firmly establishing himself as a key member of Joe Schmidt's set-up during the November Tests.
On the Leinster side, 20-year-old full-back Jordan Larmour has dazzled this season, with his searing pace and supreme footwork undefendable on occasion. His magnificent effort against Munster at Thomond Park a case in point.
The Dublin native represented Ireland in hockey at U18 level and was torn between the two sports leading up to the 2016 Olympic games in Rio. His ultimate decision was to choose rugby, however, and his form is such that it would almost be a surprise at this stage were he not involved in some capacity during the upcoming Six Nations.
This season Larmour has made nine appearances for Leinster, making 639 metres from his 80 carries, and his 33 defenders beaten puts him in the top ten for the competition overall.
Stockdale has also scored four tries in this season's campaign, and his stats measure up to Larmour's if you factor in his absence due to international duty.
Though the pair won't be lining up opposite each other in Dublin on Saturday, expect fireworks when either gets hold of the ball.
Leinster v Ulster is live on Sky Sports Action from 5.30pm this Saturday
