Dean Mumm is in danger of missing Australia's Twickenham showdown with England after being cited for his illegal tackle against Ireland.
The flanker dumped Tadhg Furlong at a ruck during the early stages of Saturday's 27-24 defeat in Dublin and was subsequently sin-binned.
There looked to be a strong case for a red card and World Rugby has decided Mumm has a case to answer on Tuesday when he will go before the Autumn Internationals disciplinary panel
World Rugby said on Sunday: "A disciplinary hearing will be held in London on Tuesday for Dean Mumm, who has been cited for an alleged dangerous 'lifting' tackle.
"The independent World Rugby disciplinary committee will be chaired by Mike Hamlin (England)."
Mumm has been relishing the clash with England and tried to shut down England's Australian head coach Eddie Jones' jibes after they were whitewashed in their own backyard in the summer.
Ex-Australia coach Jones fired a first shot at his home nation after England beat Argentina to remain unbeaten under his leadership on Saturday, hinting that the Wallabies actively employ illegal scrum tactics.
"I'm sure Eddie's up to his regular tricks but I will try not to make myself aware of it really, because it's kind of irrelevant to what we want to do next week," Mumm said.
"We're not going out there to play Eddie Jones, we're going out there and playing England and there's a whole 23 of them willing to stop us, so we've got a big job on our hands to get that done.
"We love playing England. It's a massive match. We've lost a goal in the grand slam but there's still a tremendous amount to offer in next week's game and, firstly, I'm very excited."
