Scotland winger Byron McGuigan has signed a new three-year deal with Sale Sharks.

McGuigan made his international debut earlier this season but was not part of the matchday squad which beat England in the Calcutta Cup last Saturday after recent hamstring trouble.

The 28-year-old joins team-mates Denny Solomona and AJ MacGinty in signing new deals at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Sharks rugby director Steve Diamond said: "It's fantastic news that Byron has agreed his new deal, and we are delighted to have him on board for the next few years.

"After meeting Byron back in 2016 and giving him the opportunity to come to the club, he has grabbed it with both hands.
