England fly-half George Ford has signed a new contract with Aviva Premiership club Bath.

Ford has been with the club since 2013, when he moved from the Leicester Tigers to work alongside his father Mike.

He has since made 59 appearances in all competitions and scored 637 points, also securing a regular place in Stuart Lancaster's England squad.

"It sounds like a cliche, but it really was an easy decision to stay here at Bath," Ford told Bath's official website.

"It's a great set-up, and the squad are working so hard to achieve our goals. There is a real focus on developing each and every player here, and that is a hugely inspiring environment to be part of.
