Yann David has been named in France's Six Nations squad more than seven years after his last international appearance.

The Toulouse centre has been included in a 32-man training squad named by his old club boss Guy Noves ahead of their opener against England on February 4.

Noves' selection also includes four uncapped players in Geoffrey Palis, Fabien Sanconnie, Arthur Iturria and Mohamed Boughanmi, but there is no place for Maxime Mermod, Mathieu Bastareaud, Jules Plisson or Brice Dulin.

Northampton No 8 Louis Picamoles is the sole squad member to play his club rugby outside France.

France, whose last Six Nations title was won back in 2010, head to Twickenham in this year's first round of games and finish at home to Wales on March 18.
