Teimana Harrison says England are ready to "make history" against South Africa after overcoming their Six Nations disappointment.
England failed to defend their Six Nations crown and finished fifth in the final standings earlier this year, after losing their last three games to Scotland, France and eventual winners Ireland.
The Red Rose will hope to return to winning ways when they take on the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday as preparation for their upcoming three-Test tour of South Africa.
And Harrison, who was named in Eddie Jones' 34-man squad for the tour, insists there will be no hangover from the Six Nations campaign when England face the Springboks at Ellis Park on June 9.
"It is not deflated at all. The mood around camp is awesome," said the Northampton flanker.
"We've been speaking about breaking the mould, we were tested three times in the Six Nations and three times we got feedback on how we can get better.
"It is just implementing that into this camp, moving on to the Bar Bars and then taking it forward to South Africa, where we can hopefully make history again."
When asked what minimum expectation is for the Test series in South Africa, Harrison said: "3-0. We can't settle for anything less."
Harrison believes England's disappointing Six Nations campaign could prove to be a blessing in disguise ahead of the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
He said: "Coming off the back of the Six Nations, we were lucky that we found out where we need to improve on, then - rather than at the World Cup.
"It has given us a good base to grow on and I'm sure we'll only get stronger from here."
