England have confirmed they will head to South Africa for a three Test tour in June 2018 as they step up their preparations for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

England will take on the Springboks in Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Cape Town in what will be their first visit to South Africa since 2012.

England have not won in South Africa since 2000, and have won just three of their 13 matches in the country.

However, England have been rejuvenated under the leadership of Eddie Jones, and have won their last five Tests in the southern hemisphere.

SA Rugby CEO Jurie Roux said: "Under Eddie Jones the English have re-established themselves as one of the powerhouses of world rugby. They have only lost one test in the last two seasons.
