Argentina head coach Daniel Hourcade described the Pumas' seven-try savaging of Georgia as a "great triumph" after seeing his side move closer towards a World Cup quarter-final spot.
The Pumas coasted to a 54-9 Pool C victory in Gloucester on Friday as Georgia came back down to earth with a bump after beating Tonga last weekend.
Argentina's task was made easier by the sin binning of Georgia skipper Mamuka Gorgodze soon after the restart, but Argentina exhibited a ruthless streak to score three tries within six minutes of that yellow card to effectively end the game as a contest.
"I'm very happy as it was a great triumph for us," said Hourcade. "We knew it would be a big battle but we managed to overcome difficulties.
"The first half we gave away a lot of penalties but in the second half we showed how we wanted to play.
"Our strategy was to dominate in defence and the things we discussed worked out nicely and made a difference."
Argentina will be favourites to beat Namibia and Tonga in their final two pool games to book a quarter-final spot, and Hourcade said he is particularly pleased his side are executing their training ground plans on the pitch.
"Of course, they were one player down, and their captain at that and what he represents for the team, but we took advantage of those minutes," said Hourcade.
"When he came back, we had the confidence in our game and we scored some good tries. You enjoy it when you want something and you get it.
"This team always tries to do what it has done in training and we did that against Georgia.
"We've improved getting quick ball to let us get opportunities and it's now bearing fruit.
"This team has players who are always keen to speak, and you've got to listen to them because they make good suggestions."
No 8 Gorgodze felt he was unlucky to receive the second-half yellow card which proved the turning point.
Gorgodze was sin-binned for slowing down ruck ball and Argentina, 14-9 ahead at that stage, took advantage of their extra man to run riot.
"I can't judge the referee but I'm sure there was no foul," said Gorgodze.
"I don't think it was a penalty and I want to see it again, but the referee is always right and I shouldn't have made that decision.
"We tried very hard but we are not on that level to play two teams like Tonga and Argentina within a few days.
"Argentina are a level above us, when we played them at the 2011 World Cup they were not that strong but they have developed a lot."
