Scotland failed to deliver in their opening Six Nations clash against Wales but their win against France showed glimpses of their autumn form where they ran the All Blacks close and beat Australia.
However, they face a confident England who are unbeaten in this year's campaign and have just one solitary loss to Ireland in 25 games under Eddie Jones.
Home advantage could play a factor but England have not lost to Scotland since 2008 and are the bookies' favourites to come away from Murrayfield with another Calcutta Cup victory.
But who would make it into your combined XV? Have your say with our team selector below...!
Scotland have thrown out the usual barbs about 'arrogant' England and their coach Gregor Townsend has suggested that Eddie Jones' men repeatedly defend from an offside position.
Jones has not bitten, saying that England will be facing a very good Scotland side but did warn that England's preparation has been excellent in the build-up to the game.
Murrayfield is of course where Jones started his reign as England coach - that day they recorded a 15-9 win and went on to record a Grand Slam. Will they be successful on Saturday?
