George Kruis and Maro Itoje are among six of England's Grand Slam-winning side nominated for the European Player of the Year award.

Saracens and England quartet Itoje, Kruis, Owen Farrell and Billy Vunipola are joined by Harlequins back-row forward Jack Clifford and Wasps centre Elliot Daly on a 15-strong list.

Daly's Wasps team-mates Charles Piutau and George Smith are also nominated, along with Exeter Chiefs back-row Thomas Waldrom, who leads the Aviva Premiership try-scoring chart on 13 and has another six in Europe.

Northampton wing George North and Leicester's Vereniki Goneva who, like Waldrom has six European tries, are the remaining domestic players on the list of nominations.
