Will Greenwood, Scott Quinnell, Rory Lawson and Alan Quinlan pick out their individual Lions XVs based on the weekend's Six Nations action.

The second round of the 2017 Championship delivered one of the most exciting games in recent memory as Elliot Daly crossed for a late try in Cardiff on Saturday to snatch a win for England against Wales.

Earlier in the day Ireland dismantled Italy thanks to hat-tricks from CJ Stander and Craig Gilroy, while on Sunday Scotland came agonisingly close to beating France before the boot of Camille Lopez intervened.

Will Greenwood has gone for England's electric wingers Elliot Daly and Jack Nowell to link up with Stuart Hogg in the back three, while Joe Launchbury joins Richie Gray in the second row.

Scott Quinnell went for the same backline as Greenwood, but has opted for a different lock pairing and a front row that sees Rob Evans instead of Joe Marler.

Quinnell also picked 22-year-old Garry Ringrose as Owen Farrell's midfield partner after a strong game in Rome.

Weirdly enough it was former Scotland international Rory Lawson who was the only pundit not to pick Stuart Hogg at full-back, with Leigh Halfpenny preferred in the No 15 jersey.

Lawson was also the only one of the four to pick Courtney Lawes in the second row.

Alan Quinlan picked out hat-trick hero CJ Stander as his top performer of the weekend.

"A special day for him scoring three tries," said Quinlan. "Time after time he got over the gain-line to put his team on the front foot."
