Round 4 of the Champions Cup served up another weekend full of entertainment and we review the best highlights.
Game of Round 4
Leinster's grinding comeback from 17-3 down to win 22-17 against Exeter; Munster's 26-15 winning arm-wrestle with Leicester at a wet Welford Road and Clermont's last minute 24-21 winner against Saracens, who slumped to their seventh straight defeat in all competitions, are all worthy of mention.
But for sheer excitement and no little endeavour, it was hard to beat the drama at The Rec on Saturday when Bath beat Toulon 26-21.
There was much to celebrate in this west country victory, not least the incredible tackle-count registered by hooker Tom Dunn (more on that below). But he was not the only person with notable stats.
England's Charlie Ewels racked up 22 tackles from second-row while Antony Watson delivered an astonishing performance in front of England head coach Eddie Jones.
Watson scored two tries and ran for 113 metres which was more than any other player on the pitch.
Player of the round
Francois Louw put in a hugely impressive shift at openside to frustrate Toulon again and again and its difficult to separate the South African and England winger Elliot Daly, who was magnificent in Wasps' 21-3 win over La Rochelle in Coventry.
Both Louw and Daly - who scored two tries before departing with an ankle injury - brought game-winning performances to bear on their respective contests.
Try of the round
This week we reward Stuart McCloskey's out of the ordinary effort that set Ulster on their way to a 52-24 win over a weakened Harlequins in Belfast on Friday night.
McCloskey showed both quick thinking and quick feet to flick Christian Lealiifano's cross-field kick towards the try line.
His deft touch was perfectly weighted and he raced through to touch down. But keeping with the Bath theme, Antony Watson's weaving second try against Toulon was another stand-out effort.
Stat of the round
Tom Dunn's remarkable tackle count of 33 demanded a second look when the game stats were revealed on Sunday night. It's even more remarkable when you consider that Dunn recorded 31 tackles the previous week away to Toulon.
Tweet of the round
Okay so this did happen in the Challenge Cup but it was still great to see Joy Neville making history. The World Rugby Referee of the Year has certainly made her mark this year and hopefully she will be reffing in the Champions Cup soon.
Blunder of the round
Leicester's Dan Cole coughed up a series of bizarre penalties after the Tigers had established an early lead against Munster at Welford Road. That aided Munster who ran out 26-15 winners.
But worse again was the Tigers' decision to run a late penalty when they trailed by nine points.
A converted try would still have seen Leicester finish with a losing bonus point, but all the had to do to earn that point was kick the penalty.
That decision could yet prove a significant blunder when qualification for the quarter-finals is determined.
Lighter moment of the round
The moment Saracens prop Vincent Koch lost his shirt against Clermont, but that did not stop him playing on.
