Eddie Jones praised his young England side's 28-14 victory over the Barbarians at Twickenham

Eddie Jones reveals which England youngsters caught his eye in their 28-14 win over the Barbarians at Twickenham.

Jones named eight uncapped players in the England starting XV to face the Baa-Baas, with seven more on the bench including Tom Curry who was a late replacement on the bench for twin brother Ben.

And despite being under the cosh from a highly experienced Barbaraians side, England made the most of their chances and started their summer off with an impressive win.

"I think the young No. 7 [Tom Curry] who came on did very well - Sam Underhill looked like the real deal when he was on as well so immediately we have two sevens there.

"The young lock Nick [Isiekwe] - I still can't pronounce his name - was promising too, he went 70 odd minutes today. Nathan Earle again on the wing showed enough to suggest that we should go forward with him."

The 18-year-old Sale Sharks flanker came on to replace the injured Underhill just before half-time and impressed.

"Today was just another step up and I'm really lucky to have this opportunity," Curry told Sky Sports.

"The older lads, Chris Robshaw, have helped me through the back-row stuff with their experience, it's been invaluable, and I've tried to just learn every second off them.

"It's been a pretty good transition with the younger boys and the old flames. It's been really nice to have the younger lads really supporting us and the older lads looking over us, really helping us push over.

"Eddie Jones has just been a massive inspiration for us all.

"I have to give a massive shout out to my Grandma," added Curry.

"She has been a big inspiration and I was really grateful for her watching over me today."
