The best five tries from the latest round of Super Rugby, including Kieran Read's effort for Crusaders against Stormers.

In-form Crusaders continued their unbeaten run to eight matches as they demolished the Stormers 57-24 in Christchurch on Saturday.

It was a record score for the Crusaders over the South African outfit and was built on a spree of outlandish off-loads including one from hooker Corey Taylor to send influential number 8 Read over for one of the side's eight tries.

South Africa's endangered Kings rose above the turmoil of their Super Rugby existence with a spirited 26-24 win over the Waratahs in Sydney.

The Kings, who are fighting to stay in next year's competition, fought back from 17-0 down to win only their fourth game in two years; however, it was a score from Waratah's centre Rob Horne that caught the eye.

It took a 78th minute penalty from fly-half Elton Jantjies to help the Lions secure a 24-21 hard-fought home win over the Jaguares on Friday, Ruan Ackermann scoring the pick of the South African side's three tries.
