Leicester and Harlequins are the only teams represented more than once in our team of the week.
Wasps went top of the Aviva Premiership after an entertaining win against Worcester, while Saracens awoke from their mid-season snooze to show what they can do by crushing Bath. In the PRO12, Leinster are top after their win against Cardiff while Glasgow warmed up for their Champions Cup quarter-final clash with Saracens with a win over Connacht.
In Super Rugby, there were wins for the Crusaders, Sharks and Jaguares, but who made our team of the week?
15. Mike Brown (Harlequins)
Scored a try and set up another with a superb break and good handling skills to send Marland Yarde over for his try. The harder ground really suited Brown's intuitive attacking game as he made the most carries of the game with 18 and beat nine defenders.
14. Chris Ashton (Saracens)
Plenty of plaudits over the weekend for Ashton, who must surely be on the Lions radar after his two tries against Bath. On attack he was outstanding - beating seven defenders and also showed his efforts in defence.
13. Rieko Ioane (Blues)
A wonderful talent who has all the skills and talent to become an All Black great. Played a key part in Augustine Pulu's opening try as well as Melani Nanai's at the end. A consistent display on attack that kept the Bulls defence guessing, which created space around him. Also kept the Bulls attack in check with a level-headed defensive display.
12. Jeronimo De La Fuente (Jaguares)
The Jaguares condemned the Reds to a third successive defeat in a scrappy and ill-disciplined affair in Buenos Aires. De La Fuente had a solid game for the homeside, scoring two tries and organising the Jaguares defence.
11. Christian Wade (Wasps)
We've switched Wade into the No 11 shirt because he showed what an attacking force he is with a blistering performance. With 15 carries, Wade beat 12 defenders for his two tries against Worcester - one of them an absolute cracker that, according to Will Greenwood, very people could score. Speaking of Worcester, a mention to their winger Josh Adams, whose two tries against Wasps helped the Warriors claim two losing bonus points, which have all-but sealed their spot in next year's Premiership.
10. Curwin Bosch (Sharks)
A man-of-the-match display from Bosch, who really controlled the game for the Sharks. Bosch kicked all his goals as the Sharks beat the Cheetahs 38-30. The 19-year-old was included in a extended Springbok squad and is definitely one to watch for the future.
9. Ali Price (Glasgow)
Turned the game for Warriors when it was finely balanced - scored a try, created one too and put in a massive tackle to deny Connacht a certain try.
1. Ellis Genge (Leicester)
A superb scrumming display from Genge, who really put the pressure on the Northampton scrum and was the one area that the Tigers really dominated Northampton. Showed up very well in the loose too. A special mention for Munster's James Cronin who came off the bench and scored two tries!
2. Richard Hibbard (Gloucester)
Playing some of his best rugby at the moment and excelled against Bristol. Was excellent at the scrum and lineout, and caught the eye with some sublime skills and running lines. Could he be a long shot for the Lions?
3. Simone Ferrari (Treviso)
A solid performance from the Treviso prop, whose contribution helped his side to a shock win over the Ospreys. The Treviso forwards handed out a bit of a spanking upfront with the Ospreys unable to get any good ball and were kept on the backfoot for most of the game.
4. Leone Nakarawa (Racing 92)
Did the hard graft for Racing following his try in the first minute. A tough tussle against Clermont's forwards including fellow lock Paul Jedrasiak, but stood up well in the battle.
5. Graham Kitchener (Leicester)
Another fierce battle with Saints' Courtney Lawes, maintaining his efforts from the Six Nations. However, Kitchener was tireless at the coal face - especially in defence.
6. Chris Robshaw (Harlequins)
A tireless performance from Robshaw, who has to have one of the biggest engines in rugby. Kept going for the full 80 minutes and was front and centre of their 53-17 win over Newcastle. Carried well to set up Rob Buchanan's try and also was the link-man for Danny Care to go over.
7. Levani Botia (La Rochelle)
Another win for La Rochelle as they beat Pau 23-13 to remain at the top of the Top 14 table. The centre, come winger, come flanker really impressed and stood out with his carries and six defenders beaten as well as his 10 tackles that really put Pau on the back foot.
8. Louis Picamoles (Northampton)
Another barnstorming display from Picamoles, who had a hand in all of Saints attacking threats. Carried with his usual ferocity and looked to offload as often as he could.
