Wasps forward Sam Jones and London Irish lock Elliott Stooke have been cleared of charges stemming from last Saturday's clash between the teams.

Both were cited by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) after the Ricoh Arena fixture and appeared before a disciplinary panel on Wednesday evening.

The incidents occurred in the second half of last weekend's Aviva Premiership match between Wasps and London Irish, which was won 38-12 by Wasps.

Stooke was charged with playing an opponent without the ball, contrary to law 10.4(f), while Jones was accused of punching or striking, contrary to law 10.4(a).

But "both charges were dismissed", the RFU have confirmed.
