Tom Coventry has made two changes to the London Irish team for their encounter with Newcastle Falcons at the Madejski Stadium.

Jebb Sinclair replaces Blair Cowan in the back row and Topsy Ojo is named at full-back as the Exiles look to make amends for their Premiership loss to Gloucester last weekend.

"Last week was frustrating and the boys have worked really hard to build towards this game," said Coventry.

"We are looking forward to playing in front of our home crowd and we hope to give them a performance they can be proud of."

Tom Court, David Paice and Ben Franks start up front while Matt Symons captains the side from the second row where he partners Will Lloyd.

Newcastle have also made two changes to their side, but unlike their opponents the Falcons come into the clash on the back of a victory after beating Bath at Kingston Park in the first fixture of 2016.

Both changes come in the pack as the Falcons look to build upon their 19-14 win, as Scotland international Scott Lawson comes in at hooker and summer signing Paddy Ryan starts at tight-head prop.

New signing Andy Goode will make his debut for the club if he is called upon from the bench.

Wasps have been forced to make two changes to the side announced to play Worcester Warriors at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday, 2pm kick off.

Josh Bassett and Charles Piutau have had to withdraw due to hamstring and groin injuries respectively. Frank Halai will start on the wing and Rob Miller comes in at full back.

In the pack, Edd Shervington gets a start at hooker ahead of Ashley Johnson and Kearnan Myall gets the nod in the second row where he partners Joe Launchbury.

James Haskell, who this week signed a contract extension with Wasps, captains the side in the No 6 jersey.

"It's always frustrating to lose any game, but it was the nature of the performance last weekend that was more disappointing to me than the result," said Young. "We know as a group that performances like that are not acceptable and we will look to put that right this weekend.

"The squad has responded really well this week; training has been at a higher tempo, with more physicality and focus. We know how tough Worcester are, not only from watching their recent performances where they pushed Harlequins and Bath so close, but also because we played them in pre-season. I'm not surprised by how well they've already done.

"We are playing at home, I believe in my squad and this is the type of game we should win if we want to reach our top-six target.

"However, I am also very mindful that, if we're a little bit off the money and not quite at the races mentally, we could come unstuck."
