Albert Kelly leads Hull KR to victory over Widnes

Watch Albert Kelly's match-winning performance against Widnes

Albert Kelly displayed some clever kicking and catching skills during Hull KR's victory over Widnes on Sunday.

The Robins scrum-half beat Rhys Hanbury to Maurice Blair's high kick, making a brilliant catch before passing to Ken Sio for his side's second try at the KC Lightstream Stadium.

Widnes scored two tries in five second-half minutes but Kelly quashed their hopes of a comeback when a loose ball was hacked forward by Shaun Lunt and the Australian turned on the gas to score.

The victory, Hull KR's second in three games, was the perfect way to honour the late Roger Millward MBE.

This was Rovers' first Super League game since Millward, the club's greatest player, passed away at the start of the month.

It was a match James Webster's players wanted to win as a way to pay their respects, and they did so with a commanding performance from start to finish.
