Veteran Leeds prop Kylie Leuluai says bowing out alongside Jamie Peacock and Kevin Sinfield after Saturday's Grand Final against Wigan is the perfect end to his playing career.

The 37-year-old joined the Rhinos from NRL side Manly in 2007 and has gone on to become the club's most successful overseas player, winning the Super League title on five occasions and the Challenge Cup, League Leaders' Shield and World Club Challenge twice each.

Leuluai has shelved plans to retire several times in recent seasons but the New Zealand-born forward is finally ready to hang up his boots after another Grand Final.

The Rhinos will also bid farewell to Peacock and Sinfield this weekend and Leuluai is proud to be sharing his final match with two greats of the game.

"I couldn't think of a better way to finish than with those two," he said. "We've had some great times over the nine years I've been at the club.

"I think I'd feel a bit lonely if I was bowing out by myself. Going out with the company of those two has definitely made it much easier.

"I'm just grateful that I've got the opportunity to play at Old Trafford again. I've had so many memorable moments at this field but getting the win this weekend is easier said than done.

"We're coming up against tough opposition in Wigan who are well drilled and well coached. I'm just enjoying the moment and the build up to my last game.

"I've been very blessed in my career, especially here at Leeds. Win or lose this weekend, I'll still be satisfied with what I've done."
