Gareth Ellis will miss Hull's Super League game against Catalans Dragons on Friday after accepting a one-match ban.
The Hull captain was charged with a Grade B striking offence after clashing with Wakefield's Mickael Simon at the weekend.
And an early guilty plea means a suspension ruling him out of this week's home meeting with the second-placed Dragons.
Hull go into the game two points behind in fourth place following Sunday's 46-28 win over the Wildcats.
