Chris Sandow has been handed the First Utility Super League Player of the Month award for February after helping his Warrington side remain unbeaten during the period.

Sandow scored three tries as Wolves won their first three matches of the campaign, including their season-opener against last year's treble winners Leeds.

And the Australian has carried his form into March, scoring a stunning last-minute drop-goal to secure a nail-biting 31-30 victory over Salford Reds last Thursday and maintain his side's winning start.

The half-back believes team spirit is the key to his side's superb start and is looking to continue that form when they take on Catalans Dragons in front of the Sky Sports cameras this Saturday.

"We always just turn up for each other, I think that's the motto here - if one in. all in," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

Chris Sandow scored an incredible drop goal in the last second as Warrington came from 18 points down to beat Salford.

"Everyone's trying really hard here at the Warrington Wolves and we have something building really good. Hopefully that keeps going this weekend. But it's going to be tough going to play Catalans over there."

Sandow credited the award to his team-mates and insists he is just glad to have been able to play his part in their early-season success following a slow start to his time with the club.

"It's good to get the season off with a bang with the boys," added Sandow, who moved to the Halliwell Jones Stadium from Parramatta Eels last summer. "I wouldn't have got this unless my team-mates had done their jobs as well, I'm just here to do my job.

"It was hard coming in last year especially in my position trying to boss the boys around on the field. But I'm doing my job really well this year especially with Kurt Gidley beside me."
