Another weekend of exciting First Utility Super League action unfolded across the country, with some fiery games taking place.
On Thursday night, Castleford all but ended Leeds chances of a super eight finish as they demolished the reigning Super League champions 52-12 at Headingley, while Hull FC moved up to third place in the league standings with a 30-16 victory over Wigan at the DW Stadium on Friday.
Wakefield held off a tremendous second-half fightback from leaders Warrington to continue their resurgence with a 36-28 win, and what an encounter it was at the Belle Vue.
