Hull Kingston Rovers skipper Terry Campese has been ruled out of action for four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Campese had just returned from a lengthy knee injury in Sunday's defeat to Huddersfield Giants.

He suffered a minor hamstring tear midway through the second half and will miss the busy Easter schedule, which sees games with Salford Red Devils, Hull, Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos.

Interim head coach James Webster said: "It's unfortunate news for Terry and the club but the upside is that it's nothing to do with his knee injury and he's facing a much shorter timeframe off the field.

"Terry is the ultimate professional and he'll be doing everything he can to get back out there as quickly as possible but we'll definitely be without him over the Easter period and maybe one or two matches after that as well.

"The injury situation we are facing at the moment is almost unheard of but we can't afford to focus on the negatives.

"We need to concentrate on the players we do have available and find a way of getting the best out of them over the coming weeks, starting on Sunday."
