Great Britain's Bryony Page took a superb and unexpected silver medal in the women's trampoline at Rio 2016
Page produced a sensational performance in the gymnastics hall to lead the event until Canada's Olympic champion Rosannagh MacLennan came up with a display that was enough for her to defend her title.
However, for Page there were tears of emotion as she held onto second to claim Britain's first-ever world or Olympic medal in trampolining.
Going second of the eight competitors, Page led the competition from early on and faced an agonising wait to determine whether she would claim a place in the top three.
Things got better when her team-mate Kat Driscoll stepped up to produce a performance that had GB in the top two positions with four gymnasts remaining.
China's He Wenna could not overtake Page and it was only Canada's MacLennan who produced a performance to better the 25-year-old from Sheffield.
And Page's medal was confirmed when world champion Li Dan could only score enough points to move into third place, instigating scenes of huge emotion from Page and the Team GB camp.
"I was really happy with my routine in the final," said Page. "It was the best routine I could have done.
"Finding out I'd got a medal, I couldn't hold my legs up. I just collapsed and I was crying my eyes out. When I found out I got the silver, I was just shell-shocked."
