Donald Trump paid for burgers, fries and pizza for college football team Clemson Tigers at the White House.
The US President was hosting a reception for the Tigers after they won the national championship and were unbeaten for the season.
Trump, a big fast food lover, says he paid for the meals himself although he did not reveal the bill.
Trump was forced to come up with the plan because of the partial government shutdown, which has also affected the White House chefs.
He wanted to make sure they did not leave hungry, adding: "We have some very large people that like eating, so I think we're going to have a little fun."
Stacks of food including burgers and pizzas were offered on silver trays, while White House cups bearing the presidential seal held fries, which were also on the menu.
