It was a tough night for the Minnesota Vikings, who were eliminated from the play-offs after losing 38-25 to the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Eve.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes, giving the Packers a two-game cushion over the 7-8 Vikings with just one game left to play in the regular season.
Disappointment for Vikings fans, who would have been so hopeful having started the season 5-0. Instead, Minnesota have gone on to lose eight of the next 10, and sit third in the NFC North.
It was also a bad night for NFL official Sarah Thomas, who came into contact with charging tight end Kyle Rudolph halfway through the fourth quarter.
Looking to escape pressure, Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford accelerated away to the right sideline before throwing down field to Rudolph.
With eyes only for the ball, Rudolph made the catch but ploughed into Thomas at full force, knocking her backwards. Though it looked as though she could have hit her head, line judge Thomas got up and continued with the game.
