When your team is in the hunt for an NFL play-off place, every point matters.
In a fiercely contested game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots, just two points separated the teams heading into the end of the first quarter.
A strong defensive display had given New England a safety, after running back Kenneth Dixon was brought down in his own end zone by Malcolm Brown and a mass of Patriots defenders.
However, after a 56-yard gain by Kyle Juszczyk, it looked as though Baltimore might take the lead. New England defended the passing attack, and the Ravens were forced to settle for a 34-yard field goal opportunity.
Going into the game, kicker Justin Tucker held a perfect record on field goal attempts this season, having slotted all 28 efforts through the uprights.
He was not able to convert, though, after an incredible play from outside linebacker Shea McClellin, who leaped over the offensive line to shut down the kick.
McClellin joined the Patriots in the off-season, after four seasons with the Chicago Bears.
New England went on to win the game 30-23, maintaining their position as No 1 seeds in the AFC.
